Nice board of watercolors! I especially enjoyed the winter landscapes, the childrens' faces and the Christmas baubles and decided to try one. I found a video by MarenaArt that was very helpful. Someday, I hope to show more dimension and shape to my objects. The inspiration photos made the ornament paintings look like they were 3D. I'm having trouble getting back to the area where those holiday paintings are so if you scrolled down far enough, you probably saw them. How do those artists get so much detail with watercolor?????!!!!!!!

Very pretty painted ornament and I love the pine, too. It looks rather icy and cold like winter should.

Yours came out very pretty, Jean. Love the shimmer too.
I was thinking the same thing - I don't know how they get all the detail either. I keep thinking that if we keep at it one day we will just know how to do it. We are all much better at it than we were a year ago sooooooo maybe?
