Making my own Mixed Media this morning as I have other things on later today. I've done the Faux Sea Glass on Memory Glass before, but I came across the suggestion of doing it on thick card. The only difference was that I used dye inks on the card rather than the pigment inks called for to use on glass in the tutorial.
Embossed a white base, and added some sea-life using Memory Box dies - the crab might be Poppy? For the crab I cut two, trimmed out the body on one and contoured it with a stylus, finishing it with Glossy Accents

Lovely! The sea glass is gorgeous, and I think the crab, especially, turned out wonderfully! I thought it was something you bought until I read the description.
