I think it would sometimes be nice to be able to travel back in time. Next week is the birthday of my good friend from high school, Diane. I met her the first day of freshman year in 1966. I think it would be interesting to know what I know now. I never would have guessed we would still be close, 51 years later. We are very different; she's the extrovert, I'm the opposite-she likes things to happen quickly, I like to take a bit more time. But I swear, if she only had one french fry, she would cut it in half and share it with me.
This is also for this week's color challenge-highland heather, rich razzleberry and pear pizazz. I used mostly the closest watercolors I had, adding some pear pizazz to the leaves. I watched a video by Ceeceecreations. The inside is stamped Happy Birthday with rich razzleberry. May flowers are lilacs.

You do seem to have happy memories of your friend. She sounds like a dear person. Your watercolored flower is so pretty.

What a treasure of memories and a hope for the future.
A wonderful take on the CC. I especially like how the lilac branch opens into the blossom like a hand reaching out. The scale of your elements is a perfect visual treat. Diane will love this. And how blessed you too are.

What an awesome thing to say about your friend! It's funny how opposites attract in friendships as they do in other relationships too. I remember 1966 well, it's was the year my older brother graduated from HS and went into the navy, a bittersweet year. Your card is beautifully water-colored, Diane with cherish this beauty for sure!
