If I could travel, I want to see more of my own country. I've never gone further west than Colorado. I'd like to see the amber waves of grain, the purple mountains majesty, the fruited plains. I'd like to dip my toes into the Pacific. I'd like to see the Grand Canyon. As you can see, I have a long wish list. Then there is Ireland, the UK, and Italy.
This is also for WCW50, following a video by Makocchino. I didn't try the second one yet. I enjoyed this painting, added a little bit of metallic wc at the bottom for shine and depth.

You really did big with the three challenges. I love your wheat field and I see the metallic. Wonderful background with the sun bearing down and a wonderful sentiment, too.

First off - I LOVE that sentiment - and while I have never seen it before it could easily become my philosophy of life.
Good job on your glow and layers of golden hues - the ethereal shafts of wheat look perfectly at home there.

Wow you knocked this one out of the park - a perfect trifecta of challenges all beautifully interpreted. Agree that your sentiment is really awesome and certainly one I can relate to! I've never been brave enough to try WCW!

Great card and another wonderful CASE. I, too, love that sentiment and I loved Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. So fun. Your write-up makes us all dream a bit bigger and I am hoping it won't be long before we are able to do just that. All the places you want to see are amazing and there are many places, like your home state, that I would love to visit too. The Northern Lights are high on my list. My #1 place is Perth and Western Australia, but I am not sure that is in the cards as my husband's back can no longer bear long flights. But, I haven't given up yet. Thanks for letting me dream along with you and your great card.

You achieved the depth of the technique nicely. I would like to see this card in real life with the metallic watercolors. It must add a nice sheen to the wheat. Great take on the challenge. TFS

This is gorgeous too Jean. I love the sentiment...and maybe add Oz to your list and NZ? I can’t wait to travel again. I miss it. TFS. Happy day
