This waterfall scrapbook page is for the Ways To Use It Challenge and also for the May scrapbooking challenge.
Phew, this was tricky and particularly for someone like me who doesn't like too much fiddly cutting or bending or trying to get something to work properly without tearing the paper. It tested my patience and even after watching the YouTube video 3 times I'm still amazed I persevered and did it. It does have some wonky edges due to a decision to trim it after the assembly but hey life isn't perfect and nor are my creations. I'm keeping it real lol.
This waterfall works by pushing the bottom panel at the sides where each panel opens displaying more scenic shots taken on a trip to Funchal in 2017. Each 6 panels open to reveal photos of Funchal taken on board our cruise ship and including the town lit up spectacularly at night.
If you wish to see more of Funchal check out the rest of the pages on the scrapbook thread.
In the meantime, come and check out Cathy's challenge Here
TFL. Happy day

Wow that's a good idea to use the waterfall display to show your art journal about your trip, I saw all the the pictures in the thumbnails and I'm really impressed, sure you had a good time!!

Ah, but waterfall elements are such fun in the end, and a great way of incorporating several photos or pictures. I like the borders and captions on each one. I worked for a retired admiral and his wife who always holidayed in Madeira in March, between their winter in Guernsey and their summer in Scotland. If they'd offered to bring me to Madeira with them, I might have stayed on and gone to Scotland with them instead of looking for another job.

Oh, what a wonderful way to display your beautiful scenes. I just went back to look at them in the forum section. I haven't made a waterfall card in so long and I think it was a Fall one. This, though, is a great idea.

Oh my, this is fabulous- a nice way of showing more pictures on one page. I love this and the sweet trim at the bottom of the photos. Cute to add in that smiley face with your location too. Wonderful trip and pictures!

I have tried this concept previously and it is a bit tricky (I hate measuring and fiddling too). The end result is wonderful though - love how it came out and you got lots of your pictures down so that can be called a big success. Fun and interactive too. HUgz
