My cards for today's WCW to paint wheat fields in pretty colours. I wish I had not done the background behind the wheat as dark as I did, but this is how I learn. In any event, they were fun to do, with a fun video too. You can find the video . I have more pictures and details on my blog found here.
Thanks for dropping by.

Both are wonderful, Kia. Love, love the grassy field you created. The depth is outstanding. I so agree with you on every painting is a learning experience. TFS

Oh, you did both and they are beautiful, Kia. Your wheat and sky is fabulous. Nice depth in the field.

Beautifully done on both versions of your wheat field, Kia. The intense yellow gives us the immediate feeling of heat needed to ripen the grain. Lovely depth in your fields with the up close & personal shafts of wheat fading away to a misty look on the horizon.

Both of them turned out beautifully! I learned as I painted, too. I forgot we were supposed to be painting the sunset one with green wheat. So most of mine is brown, ready to harvest. I did add a little green to it though. I like that you got enough color to keep it vibrant after it dried!
