This week we are sending dimensional hugs to Jeanne, an avid stamper who sadly is loosing her eyesight and ability to make cards. So we are using bright colors and dimension to send her some good old fashioned card making cheer.
Originally I intended to use two shades of green glitter paper but they really didn't go well together so I opted for the brighter green glitter paper and paired it with a green Bazzill. Not perfect, but it was the best match I could achieve with what I had. And, I heard Jennifrann's voice saying it's fine because everything works with glitter paper. LOL.
I die cut the dark green cs and then added back a couple of the pieces back, but not in the places where they belonged. It added a few new curves and I liked the way it looked. The rest is straight forward. Stamped, colored, die cut the flowers. Die cut some leaves from the green cs and the glitter paper. Embossed the sentiment. Glued it all down and added Stickles to the flower centers.
I hope Jeanne enjoys her cards and all the good wishes coming her way. I can't imagine what it's like to be unable to continue doing something I love so much. I hope today you are able to pursue something you love and enjoy. Hugs. TFL

OOOO I'm glad you were inspired by my card..I think the glitter paper was a brilliant idea (and I can hear Jen saying that about glitter paper..her boys love it). The pretty pink flowers are a wonderful contrast to the greens. I predict she'll love this.
