I survived another fun fold! And it wasn't that bad. Thanks, Jean! The hardest part was those cuts in the middle of the paper. I have a WeR Memory Keepers dial trimmer and it is very hard for me to tell where the blade actually is when I put it down. Also, maybe it wasn't quite sharp enough, or I didn't commit and push down enough, because I had to flip the paper over and finish the cut with an X-acto knife.
Can you believe my Desmond turns 8 on Wednesday? I can't. I used my ScanNCut to cut the big 8. Then I got my Pokemon stamps out. Couldn't resist buying these for my boys. I stamped a Pokeball background and a Pikachu background for my strips. And then I arranged Charmander and Squirtle high-fiving in the front. Desmond told me I better put glitter on his card, so I put some glimmer paste on the yellow circle behind the Pokemon and some Stickles on Charmander's tail. I hope it's enough.
Now, I'm really glad that I made this fun fold for Desmond's birthday card because we have a little speaker thing that we pulled out of a balloon that he got for his birthday last year and he wants me to put that in his card somehow. I think I can put a backing on this card and fit the speaker inside...

My grandparents used to say 'put some books on her head to stop her from growing.' I grew quickly, then came to a screeching halt. My granddaughter Mirren will be 8 in September. She is either 28 or 2. this is so much fun for Desmond, he will be thrilled.
