Today Lisa has challenged us to use distressing on our cards. I wanted to do each of the techniques that she suggested, but ultimately landed on a favorite - wrinkle free distress. I don't know how distressed it really looks, but I always love the results. Especially now that I own watercolor paper. It just works so much better. I die cut the Rainbow Panel from the Fabriano Hot Press paper and colored up each individual strip of the rainbow. But instead of using Distress inks, I used my Spectrum Aqua markers. It was just a little easier and still came out as good. I need to use this die more often. This card was really easy to design and put together and perfect for a personalized card that a friend requested.

I don't know how you can bring yourself to use your watercolour paper with such abandon! I'm frugal with mine, and save it for the things I think one really needs it for. Maybe, looking at this, I need to add WFD to that list. Those colours are so vivid and look fantastic like that.

I love the results too of wrinkle free distressing. It has been over a year since I did it and need to try it again. The rainbow colors are amazing on your card Jen. Makes for a very happy fun card.
