This is for today's marvelous sketch as well as today's Alphabet Challenge letter A for alcohol ink. I wanted to try alcohol ink on a black background so I first used some Snowcap mixative, and then dropped and blew three colors of alcohol ink around along with some gold mixative. I called the card Serendipity because I like how the background turned out.
Then I added the glitter pieces - couldn't decide on a color so used both. I found this gorgeous, sparkly butterfly from Karen (Art Deco Diva) and thought it completed the card perfectly. Added that to a Gorgeous Grape base and added an off cut of the background to decorate the inside, and it was done.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Gorgeous colors and sparkle and the butterfly does look perfect!
When I look at this, I see a face profile - prominent nose, black and white eye and small gap for the mouth.

Pretty colours Catherine. I tried AI once on black and the colours disappeared until I read that you had to use white too...doh! This turned out great. TFS. Happy day

So awesome. That ink background looks amazing. Love that you have added Karen's butterfly and that wider glittery piece. You rocked the sketch and alpha challenge with this, Catherine!
