I have the pleasure of being your hostess this week. I hope that you'll enjoy the colors and find time to join us. For dessert I'm giving you the option to add another color of your choice!
For my card I chose Calypso Coral to go with my flowers.
A funny thing about this card - it seems when it is my turn to host I struggle with a card. Tonight's was no exception. I probably had 4 or 5 ideas before I landed on this stamp set. It's one I've used, but not often. I'm not one to send cards like "wishing you sunnier days" and those are often the sentiments with an umbrella image. But I really like the "hello sunshine" thought! Now my critic speaking - I should have placed the sentiment a bit higher; it's driving me crazy but I didn't have time to make another card!
Please play along this week! We love seeing all the beautiful creations!

We always seem to be our worst critics, Jeanne! I think this card is wonderful, love the combo of the slightly textured base, the scallops, the
dotted DS paper and the adorable umbrella full of flowers. (When we were in college, 60 years ago (!), one of my husband's friends always called me "Sunshine.")

I love the colors and the beautiful image with the spring flowers around it. Love the gingham paper pieced umbrella and the great dies you used. I really think you are hard on yourself : )

I understand completely. When you host, you want your card to be a knock-out so lots of pressure. Honestly, all of your cards are gorgeous. This is no exception. That cascade of bright blossoms is wonderful.

I understand what you're saying b/c I do this too (point in case, my watercolor birds) Anyway, I like the sentiment where it is and I love your card. You've inspired me to use this set since it is a cloudy, rainy day here abd because I haven't used it since I got it!!

This is so pretty! Jeanne, you always come up with the best layouts. The pattern paper is the perfect addition to the lovely flowers. Sweet sentiment too.

Love this card! The bright flowers are such a great contrast to the background. I always second (and third!) guess my choices also and in the end, wonder why I did. This card is terrific!

Jeanne you are your worst critic, the sentiment is fine and only you would have noticed it. I agree with you on creating a card with 'your own' hostess colors, lol! You have designed an adorable card along with your magnificent job of coloring. TFS
