For today's teaparty we're celebrating a daughter's love for her mother. I've included some zig zag sewing around the edge to honor the memory of my mother. She loved to sew and made countless items of clothing for me. Her love of sewing was passed on to her daughters. Come join us this week for the teaparty!

Oh Polly this is fabulous. That teapot is gorgeous with all the patterns. Love your stitching and the whole design. And that tag is great. Wonderful card.
This is a lovely card, Polly. Love the pink and the stitching of course that wonderful teapot. What a sweet way to honor your mom and way to send some comfort to Linda.

This is so perfect. My mom taught me to sew, too! It was the best thing for me to make my own clothes. I also adore that Greetery tea cozy mat, it is darling for the fun chintz teapot. Thanks so much for sending this lovely card to Linda.

I just had to sit and look at all the textures and embellishments .... this is a lovely labor of love for Linda! How touching to add the zigzag in memory of your Mother who loved to sew!

I always love seeing you using that Greetery die. It makes a great cloth to set your decorative teapot on, and I like that you've added the silver spoon. The stitching combines so well with the checked pattern. My mother loved sewing too - after she died, I finished off a couple of projects she had started, a shirt for my dad, and one for my nephew.
