Today is my mom's birthday. Yes, I know I waited until the last minute to make her card. I put the pro in procrastination. Guess who I get it from? Well, from both my parents. I never stood a chance. If you've seen previous cards I've made for my mom, you know she makes the most beautiful ragdolls. If you don't know that, check out her Etsy Shop. One of her most popular dolls is one that wears a sunflower dress. My favorite way of adding texture is with Paper Glaze or texture paste, so I created a sunflower background with a STAMPlorations stencil, black Paper Glaze, and copper colored expanding mousse. Then I colored this sweet Raggedy Ann digi that was provided as a freebie to the Kit and Clowder Facebook group to match the sunflower background. I used SC233 for the layout and added more texture by using glitter paper and embossing the sentiment both in clear and iridescent EP. And, as always, I made a second card for her to send to a friend.

Wow! This is so cool. I didn't know that about your mom! I will go check out her Etsy shop. I love the textured background and the ragdoll image is the sweetest! Your mom is going to love this! I know you say you are last-minute but you always make the most amazing things so, last-minute works for you!

Adorable and I can imagine how much your Mom appreciates your cards so personalized for her. And, I love that you make a second card for her to give to a friend. You may have procrastinated but you still made it on time. Whew! Great job.
