Layers of ink
I missed when the cherry blossom trees flowered this year and instead I created my own trees. They were inspired by the look of the pink flowers against a blue sky. Start by stamping the tree crowns from the All Seaons Tree with Distress Oxide ink. Emboss with clear powder. Before it cools down, add more powder. Be very careful not to touch the melted powder until it has cooled down completely. I also sprinkled a tiny bit of white embossing powder into the mix. Repeat for all the trees. Watercolor the background with Distress Ink and add more texture with more layers of ink and also come oxide ink. Ink the trees with Forest Moss and mist with water before stamping. Add shading by watercoloring with green shades of Distress Ink. Splatter a lot of Scribble Sticks on the background to create the look of flowers in the air and on the ground.
