I created this card for a 9 year old's birthday. I got my inspiration for this card from Pinterest and can't find the inspiration piece but the only part that I used was the curvy parts and different fish - nothing else is the same. The sea background is a piece of cardstock that I stamped with a paisley rubber stamp and used a technique long forgotten (27 years ago). I kept waiting for the right time to use it and this was it. IRL the background appears to be coral in the sea waters. The yellow fish were die cut and stamped using a MISTI. The blue fish, octopus, and cake were stamped and colored as necessary with Copics and then fussy cut.
The background was adhered to the card base, the minnow was stamped directly onto the bg. the other fish were adhered in place, then the curvy die cuts on top of that. The sentiment was stamped with the MISTI and the octopus was then placed in position where I then added the cake to one of his tentacles. A few glitter gels to add sparkle and gem stones to the crown and I was done.
Thanks so much for taking a look!

Cute birthday card with the punny sentiment to carry out your "under the sea" theme, Cindy. Great coloring and the curvy panel gives the feeling of the ocean's movement.
