Yay! It's teapot Tuesday and this week we are "tickling" a fellow teapotter. We have been given a great theme and challenge this week. Our task is to visit the Sylvia Hotel and create a card based on our favourite author. You'll have to guess which one I chose. The quote on the front is by this author. I've chosen a peek a boo card to add to the mystery. The inside contains more clues. Bonus points for guessing the book associated with the clue on the inside. I believe it was the first of many by this author that I read. Enjoy!

You obviously found an old picture of me coming home from the library - lol - I long for those days when I could sit and read a book from cover to cover. Unfortunately, my eyesight is now too compromised to read more than a page or 2 a day which is very frustrating. You did a fabulous job of coloring that image.

I believe I know who you are referring to, Vicky! I love how you made your card into a hunt for clues to solve the mystery - just like your favorite author! I do agree with her and you - books are as addicting as drugs!

Between me and google, Now I know who the quote is from. I did not know it before. It's been a while since I have read any book by this Author. Love every book I have read in the past though. Guess it's time to read some more from the author. Great image and well colored.

Love your peekaboo, it adds another element of mystery to an already really cool card (I peeked inside). That girl is carrying way too many books (and yet it seems many of us identify with her)!
