Tucked away in some of my late Mom's things was a very old calendar (2006) with the most amazing prints. I can understand why she saved it. I decided to honor her by using some of the prints in my card craft.. I hope to pass on her love of art. My background panel is white card stock sponged with Twisted Citron ink and splashed with Key Lime. I used those colors to bring out the green in the print. Raised the print with foam tape and added the feathery yellow ribbon for texture. This was an easy card that I will use for Easter next year.

wow. I love this. This is such a great example of how to use pre-prints...you created one upcycling the calendar.
Great choices with the greens to pull it out of the print-I think like that myself with layers. I have never seen feathery ribbon like that-but so perfect!
I would have trouble letting go of that one.
