Did you know we have a Challenge Chat over on the forums where we link the daily challenges? (if you have a challenge you would like included simply PM me!) We ask fun challenge questions to stir up conversation at least once a week and we try to get the Daily Challenges up each day! I was linking today's Teapot Challenge and just had to take an intermission from my Watercolor Practice to play along! What a cool challenge. I didn't know about the hotel before today.
I chose the Jane Austen room. I love Jane Austen stories. Her room is elegant, clean, and simple. My favorite cards are clean and simple. I included lots of white space on my card just as there is in the Jane Austen Room.

I’m with you, Angie and Jane Austen! Your card is just perfect...such freedom in CAS work. Love the frilly font...I can just see Jane with her characters practicing their handwriting, quill pens and ink pots...their would have to be purple ink for me!
Thank you for bringing Jane to the Tea Party.

How fun is this - I had no idea you could STAMP baker's twine!! Guess if you look long enough you can find a stamp of everything . . . . This CAS design works so well and the "penmanship" exhibited on the sentiment is what all proper ladies aspired to.

Love your CAS approach to this challenge, Angie! I agree, this card is something that Jane Austen herself would pick! I also thought that was bakers twine until Linda pointed it out, LOL!

Great take on the Jane Austen room, Angie. Had I taken it as a straightforward inspiration challenge, that room tempted me a lot. Wasn't it a wonderful sounding hotel? I don't know that I'd like too long with no wi-fi these days, but three or four days with just books and sea sounds like bliss right now.
