I forgot to buy scratch paper so I had to make my own. Now I'm glad I did, because I experimented with some things that I wouldn't have if it had already been done for me. For one, I don't know if I would have noticed that they now have metallic scratch paper. I tried making my own metallic scratch paper and it mostly worked. The embossing folder took off some of the gold to begin with. There is enough gold left to add some sparkle, though. I trimmed it out with gold and metallic flowers, background and butterfly to bring out the glint.

Ah - so you painted over gold card. That I must try. I did it over crayons on my attempt that I didn't use. It looks great combined with the foiled flowers.

That wire butterfly is a show stopper but what really sets it off is the great black and gold background. Great idea to paint over gold foil card stock. Love it.
