Well, I wasnât planning to play today as I have a lot of catch-up projects to take care of, but while having my morning coffee I browsed Martinaâs gallery, and this card caught my eye - Merry Christmas by Martinaskaartjes at Splitcoaststampers. Iâve been wanting to do something with this blue/black âcowâ patterned paper I have. When I first saw Martinaâs card, I thought the stars were two-colored in a random pattern â PERFECT for this paper I have! When I got a closer look, I see Martinaâs stars are a metallic cardstock that is just adjusting for the light. I stuck with my idea, though, and am very happy with the results. Especially excited because I was able create the circle background on my cutter â Love how that turned out as well.

Great looking card! Creative use of your "cow pattern" paper combined with you circle cuts for this modern look. Wonderful birthday card for either sex.

Striking background and case of Martina's card! Isn't is wonderful how something seen in someone's card will inspire us to get creative! I love the splotchy stars!

I love stars on cards and this one is great. Your circles are perfect, too, and a wonderful color combo. Fab birthday card.
