My offering for this week's Watercolor Wednesday: painting a watercolor sunset. I fiddled with this more than I thought I would. I'm not unhappy with it (it takes a lot to make me unhappy), but I think I could do better, particularly the middle part. I grabbed the wrong brush to do the vegetation in the front, that could be improved also. But for a quick painting, not too bad. Always can improve.

I think your water looks great and the mountains, also. I am striving to do tall grasses better and with practice I am planning on that. Great card and so happy you joined us this week.

I kind of had the same reaction about mine...this was not as easy as it looked. I actually like your middle part...the reflection of the mountain looks realistic. Nice clouds..These WCW challenges do take practice. ;)

Love your puffy cloud sky and those silhouetted grasses in particular! I think it turned out very well and you should be pleased. I'm sure if I tried this, it would definitely look like an amateur holding a brush!
