Moving away from the big dots die. Mostly. For now. But this little Spellbinders emoji was screaming for a little more love before going back into it's storage pocket. Add to the mix that I found this NBUS Smile stamp set and die from MFT and you understand that I simple HAD to make this card.
Pulled out scraps of Bazzill bling card stock in a variety of colors and die cut the smileys. Used scrap black card stock to cut the black backing circles from the Waffle Flower big dots die.
Die cut the smile word die 4 times - once from the diamond bling focal panel, twice from some black Bazzill scraps and once from black glitter card stock. Layered using Glossy Accents.
(Tip: even though I was stacking the word die, since the letters are separate, I find it easier to cut from my focal panel and inlay one layer just to ensure everything is straight and properly spaced.)
Assembled the card, adding a thin black mat to frame my focal panel.
Inside sentiment: SMILE, IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY
So happy with how this card came out.
TFL.

I love all the colors for your smiles making the card so cheerful. Great tip you left us, also.
