Do your crafty products talk to you? Or is it just me?
After I made my last card using this Waffle Flower Big Dots die, I decided to make an "opposite" card using the parts of the 2 yellows I hadn't used (that is not this card - I got distracted. LOL). So I was looking to see what other right sized sentiment stamps or dies I might have to change it up a bit. As I was riffling through, I came across a pocket with this sweet little Smile word die that was packaged with some Spellbinders Emoji dies. And both of them just jumped up and down and screamed PICK ME! PICK ME! So I put the "opposite" card away for later and decided to make a happy, happy, happy card.
I started out by die cutting the big dots die from Diamond Bling Bazzill cardstock. I die cut the Smile in the sentiment area, cut again from black glitter card stock and inlaid. I layered the dot panel to a piece of black card stock. The dots for this die are slightly smaller than the emoji dies, but it turned out to be rather simple to center the leftover yellow dots in the die to cut the faces out. I inlaid these in every other dot. I then cut out a few rows of the big dots from leftover black glitter card stock and inlaid them into the remaining dots.
I matted to black and attached to my top folded card base and called it done.
All those smileys just make me happy. I hope they make you smile, too.
TFL.
