This card has a few recycled pieces. The BG piece is a hand made piece from a wedding invitation. It has a little cedar branch imbedded in it. I highlighted a bit of it by water coloring a few sprigs over it. Then there is the foil on the corners. It is part of a candy wrapper. It was torn quite a bit so I just used it on the corners and trimmed it to the BG paper. A phone book page comes next. I glued 4 pages together and cut the branches from it. I dry brushed some paint over it to give it some color and then I cut fringe into the leaves so they would look more like pine or cedar branches. The birds are fussy cut from a Christmas card. and last is a thin strip of a burlap/lace combo ribbon that came from another card. I had fun with this challenge.

Pat I love all the recycled items you used to create this and I can tell you had fun. I especially love the gold candy wrapper..it looks like mica and the BG paper you chose with the branches on is so beautiful. TFS. Happy day

Love all the elements in this card and the way they came together. The Christmas card birds are lovely as is the imbedded greenery in the background. Your use of a page from a phone book fashioned into a branch is perfect for recycling (never thought of that!) Very interesting and beautifully done!

Wow I love all the recycles and really love how this came out. That lace on the bottom is amazing and the birds and branch turned out great. Nicely done!
