Hello AGAIN friends.
I am so sorry but I had to remove my first entry because I was totally not fine with the calico cat. I broke the rules and used a color outside of the challenge colors but...I'm ok with that. I believe this is a better version of the intended card. Still not perfect but better in my eyes.
It took all day yesterday to complete the card. I first stamped the kitties...then I masked them off to stamp the fish bowl. I started on the plain white card stock, thought AFTER I stamped the images and started coloring them...what am I going to do for the background. Then I thought...patterned paper to represent wallpaper. So with hesitation I fussy cut the cats out and added the Unity dps for the wallpaper then thought a wall needs a window. So I added that as well. I colored the cats without hair and didn't like them as much as I them them with hair so I used my Copic liner pens to make some hair. Being that this is my first attempt to color cats...i believe it turned out ok.
I added the glaze to the fish bowl which washed out my challenge color coastal cabana...you can see a remnant of it around the edges if you look hard lol. I colored the fish with petal pink and flirty flamingo and then put wink of Stella over it and added Nuvo dream drops for the fish bubble before applying the glaze.
The heart was colored with flirty flamingo then covered with Nuvo drops. I distressed the edges just to add more texture.
I hope you all are doing well this week. God less and stay safe.

Such a cute card that you didn’t have to tell us what all you did but made it interesting! Love the cats and the wall paper. The cats are trying hard to get in that bowl! LOL

Your fishbowl is such a clever way to use this week's colors and your presentation with the cats tells the cutest little story! I'm so glad you played along!

What a wonderful scene. I love the kittens and the fish bowl, but I'm impressed that you gave them a vase of flowers in their scene as well. All of the details are very nice!
