This is the 2nd take on my CC card. The more I looked at it the more I didn't like the flowers stamped over the stencil work. I didn't like the stenciling showing through. So this morning I stamped & fussy cut the flowers. Version 1 had the flowers off to the base card. I thought it looked kind of 'eh', so I used my undo & removed the top layer & using the long scissors to cut to them to the edge. I'm much happier with this card now. All the card details can be seen here.
Thanks for stopping by.

Well, version 3 definitely works for me - love the blend of colors in your bg stenciling and the fussy cut flowers work nicely against the green leafy waves.

From your description, I think version 3 is the best too. Love the flowers in the corner and I think cutting them to the matting is really effective on this card. That is a great stencil and beautiful stenciling by you. Glad you persevered. Lovely card.

Persistence payd off. Undo is on my list of things for DH to buy the next time he is able to get to his friend in Maine - not this year by the look of things. Nice stencil and pretty colours.
I found that spritzing on regular paper didn't give me a result like Dina's, I had to go back and sacrifice some of my watercolour paper in order to be able lift any colour after misting.
