Iâve had this Card base for at least 4 years+ and since I first started card making. A friend gave me a few that she didnât want. It was already die cut and Iâd simply glued patterned strips behind the cupcake. Itâs been sitting in my stash ever since.
When I saw the challenge I decided to rescue it and see what I could do with it. I painted the BG and added a stencil of cherries. Sentiment and sprinkles stamped. Added stickles on the cupcake and done.
Itâs a very basic card for me and not my usual style but Iâm glad that Iâve finally rescued one card out of my stash. Thereâs lots more to go.
TFL. Happy day

How fabulous to rescue a card and give it purpose. This looks great, Jayne. I love the additions you made to the background and love the sparkle I see on the cherry on top. Lovely!

This is VERY fun, Jayne. Love everything about it - you can't go wrong with a cupcake or sprinkles!!! Cute, quirky, and festive - a great birthday card! Hugz

Nothing like finally getting to use up from your stash. Love this hot pink color you have added and sweet stencilled cherries. Fun mix of papers that you have used!
