In spite of the dreary rainy weather, Barbara has given us some wonderfully bright, happy and springlike colors: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green with DSP for dessert.
I'd been playing around with this circle sketch for a pair of his and hers birthday cards with some retiring sets and then a package of new stuff came. I couldn't resist adding a birthday card for the young at heart. These puffins are going to be a lot of fun.
It might not look like I have Granny Apple but that cake has green candles.

Oh gosh, I LOVE these puffins! I may be using the same stamps for my card; they just lend themselves so well to these fun, bright colors. Great card design with the little birthday guy in the spotlight!

I can't wait to see the new catalog and get a look at the puffin set--this card looks so adorable, Chris! I love the scene you created--a perfect birthday card for someone who's young--or young at heart!
