I need to experiment with other watercolor papers, I didn't seem to get as much paint movement as I expected with this paper.
I just followed the steps in the tutorial then used a black gel pen on the flower center. I die cut the focal panel and the black mat using rectangle framelits and then assembled the card.
I meant to add the sentiment on a vellum strip across the lower part of the card - but I assembled the panels and attached to the base before remembering my plan! Fussy cutting around the sentiment was the rescue idea and then glue smeared evenly across the back to attach and it was complete.
Thanks for the tutorial, Dina. If you haven't checked out the tutorial section here on SCS, you should. There are lots of wonderful tutorials in there!
Thanks for looking!
