Congratulations to Mary Ellen, today's featured stamper. I chose this card in her gallery as inspiration today:

I changed the orientation of the card and switched the circle for an oval as it fit my critter image better. I switched this little doxie for Mary Ellen's cute hedgehog. My DH is having knee replacement surgery this week and this is a get well I'm going to give him from our dog - heehee. We have a little black doxie mix with white markings on her chest and feet. I stamped the image on gray card stock and then blended on some darker gray ink to approximate a black dog without covering up the face. The white is from a paint pen. Inside says "At least you don't have to wear a cone!"

This is just adorable, Claudia! So sorry DH has to have surgery, but sure he will smile when he sees this card from his pup. The background surrounding the pup is very pretty. Thanks for the heads up on sunflower colors.

What a great pattern on that green oval - and so fun with the dog colored like your own and with the cone of shame on him!! I'm sure it will cheer your husband!

How cute is this! Love the bokeh dp in the background and yeah, wearing a cone would be a nuisance, lol. The little prints across the bottom are as sweet as your little pup!

This is so cute and I love the addition of the cone. How clever and sweet to have a get well card from the dog. That sentiment is humorous and perfect. At least with knee surgery it won't hurt your dh when he laughs when he gets this. This card just makes me smile. So fun.
