This week's tea party is for Vickie who loves pink, tea, butterflies, flowers, and more. I got the first three included on this card.
First, I stamped a master board (new term to me!). I did an 8.5 x 11 sheet so have several more panels of this background. The script stamping was done with Galaxy Gold ink for a subtle look and some shine.
Next I decided to cut it and add it to a base of Flirty Flamingo. I did add soft sponging with Flirty Flamingo to tone down the white.
I die cut my tea kettle and stamped the Lotus Blossom on it. I chose this flower because it is the same stamp I used when I did a card for Vickie's turn as Featured Stamper. I softly sponged Galaxy Gold around the edges of the tea kettle and lid and popped it up with dimensionals. I added some shadow below the tea kettle with a couple of Copic markers.
Inside it says "Take care" with a butterfly and will be on its way to Vickie on Monday.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking.

Love your masterboard design. That butterfly is wonderful and the colors are lovely and cheerful. What a great tea pot die and perfect for this Tea Party. I really like that you used a stamp -- the lotus -- to harken back to another card you did for Vickie. I think that is just such a cool idea. Beautiful layout.

Lovely teapot, and the lotus stamped on it was the first thing I noticed. I like the gold script; I always like script stamps in the background and gold is a great way of keeping them subtle and adding some richness.

Beautiful card for Vickie. I love the big butterfly and all the panels. The tea kettle with the lotus is just wonderful and a good reason for using it. So many wonderful details even down to the shadow under the tea kettle. She is sure to love it.
