I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do this, but I was quite surprised at how well it went. I followed along with the tutorial and then added just a small hello stamped in Perfect Plum first. The color didn't look quite right so I stamped it again in Orchid Opulence. Good thing it was a polymer stamp and even then I usually mess up trying to stamp a second time. Got lucky today, it stamped right where I wanted it.

Pat, you hit a home run with this one. The scale of your background 'stripes' with the foreground lavender spikes is perfect. I love the faint Hello...I bet this will encourage you to tackle next weeks WC.

Though, you thought it would be too hard, look what happened. You went for it and you turned out a beautiful field of lavender. I love the long stems and the darkness of your lavender with all the pretty green underneath. Thanks for joining and we'll be looking for you again next week.

Oh, your lavender looks amazing! Your background is gorgeous too! Ok, so I am in awe of you. I can NEVER restamp in the exact position unless I am using my MISTI and sometimes not even then!
