Well, I just wanted to share the other two bgs/cards I made when I was making the Teapotter card for Vickie Y. I mentioned in that write-up that I was really trying for white-on-white but you can see on one card I completely abandoned that and stamped the butterfly in pink.
So both cards, the butterfly was stamped and heat embossed. Ink blended with the DOX. Stamped the blossoms. Added the sentiments and embellishments.
Trust me when I say the sunlight hit the white butterfly just right for this photo because it is not anywhere close to that distinct in person. I think both cards are fine and I will be happy to send them to friends; but, I really like the one I did for Vickie Y the best. Hope you are liking all your creations the "best" today too. TFL

So beautiful....both of them, Debbie. I like the sequins, also. The pink and white is so soothing.

These three are all so pretty! I think I lean toward the white on pink, although I really like the sentiment placement on the other. Ok, it’s a toss up.

These two runners-up look fabulous, too, Debbie! I'm partial to the white butterfly because I like how soft and dreamy it is with those cherry blossom-ish (your words if I remember right ), but the trail of sequins leading to the pink butterfly draws the eye easily from one element to the other...sigh, thank goodness we don't have to choose one over the other, and we could love them both!

I love both, I think the recipients will love these cards so much and the pink butterfly card is so pretty embellished too, the white butterfly pops against the pink bg, even if it's a light effect, it looks really beautiful and love the white branch with blossom

The white is beautiful, I can see why you were persistent in writing with that idea. I wouldn't in any way call either of these also-rans, they're beautiful even if they didn't match your inner vision. Very nice butterfly stamp, like a smaller more useful version of SU's Swallowtail.
I'm trying to think what I call cards like that, I usually think of them as Fragments that Remain.
