Cathy challenged us today to include a gift in our cards to celebrate the fact that life is a gift! This card is also for Ally's sketch challenge last week, which I struggled hard with - but I liked it so much, I kept trying to make it work. I finally hit on a solution when I thought of the word "Joy" since this would fit the sketch nicely (seeing Susan's One4Joy username certainly helped ;)). The letters were cut on the Silhouette using the font Gallia (tip: the mat has to be really sticky when cutting intricate designs), while Santa bearing gifts is a dimensional shiny sticker.
Thank you so much for the challenges, Cathy and Ally!

Such a great Christmas design. I try to make a couple every month so I don't have as many to do during the holiday season.

How clever you are to use your sentiment to show your gift/s. I love that and the paper is so pretty. Wonderful to be getting early Christmas cards made. Thank you for the virtual hug for "this girl" on my lavender kindness card. I felt it and it was such a kind gesture on your part.

Perfect dp for this sketch and that is one gorgeous font for the sentiment. The fancy white die cut reminds me of an old fashioned ornament which is perfect for that vintage looking Santa. Thanks for the tips too. Fabulous card.

Very clever design! I like how you used the o in Joy for the “Santa bearing gifts” sticker, which goes so nicely with the patterned paper. The sequins are a nice added touch to complete the card. Very nice!
