Thanks, Kia, for a fun and easy Watercolor Wednesday challenge! I really enjoyed this one. Right up my alley--loose and colorful. I'm really happy with the way this came out, although the salt technique never works for me. Regardless, I love the depth of this field of lavender. Two weeks ago, I made a card for my mom's cousin who was having health issues. This week's card is also for her. She has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that she is not expected to survive. I wish there were more that I could do than make and send cards, but I will make and send card after card after card.

I can absolutely tell by your brushstrokes that you were at ease with painting these tall stalks of lavender. Love the combo of ink and die cut you used to make that sentiment pop.

It's beautiful and I am glad this one was easy for you. The colors in your card are super. I am sorry about your relative and I know she is sure to appreciate your cards and really looks forwarding to receiving them.

This is beautiful and I love your loose style because that is what I think of when I think watercolor. I am so sorry to hear of your aunt's diagnosis. It is hard to sit on the sidelines and not be able to do "something" but I am confident that your cards provide her with much joy, love and a feeling of being supported. That's really the best thing we can do for anyone in any situation. Hugs.

Lovely creation with your loose lavender. It was a challenge that was relaxing to do. The salt seems to work better on darker colors for me. I love how you added the border around your painting. Sorry about your relative, but sending cards will lift her spirits. Enjoyed you joining us this week and giving us this beauty. Fav'd

How very pretty this turned out! I love your loose water coloring. I am too much of a perfectionist to find loose painting easy- working on it! I took a class where the teacher recommended Sea salt for the salt technique- works better..... Prayers for your mom's friend- and I am sure the cards will be well appreciated!
