Every Wednesday another fun and inspiring challenge is provided and I am so grateful! Thank you! I had a lovely time trying to paint a lavender field following the tutorial found here:
I ended up using only a part of my painting because I was making a sympathy card follow up for a friend, and the full painting was simply a bit too much purple and purple pink for the occasion. But the good thing is I have plenty for a second card some day in the future.

This spotlighted portion of your painting is just beautiful, my friend, and very appropriate for a sympathy card. I can see at least 3 or four layers of color for lots of depth in your painting.
