 | | ...because it took me three tries to get a bg with a white butterfly that I thought worked for this week's Tea Party recipient, Vickie Y. Vickie loves butterflies and pink and others things, but I stopped at butterflies and pink.
I really wanted this to be white on white, but I just couldn't see the butterfly. I had originally stamped some cherry blossom-ish blooms all around the butterfly but it just looked blah, so I set this panel aside. While working on the others I ended up with a lot of DOX on my mat so I sprayed the ink and smooshed this panel into it thinking I would use it in the future. Once it dried it looked the best of my three -- of course it did. Stamped the script in silver. Decided to abandon the cherry blossom-ish blooms and pulled out this set with matching dies. Added stickles to the centers for a little bling. I created the edge around the sentiment by direct-to-paper with the DOX.
I hope Vickie enjoys this "charming" card and feels much affection and support from all of her SCS friends. I hope you all feel much affection and support as well and I hope you have a charming day too. TFL |
