I stamped this image MANY years ago at a friends house - Anyway today I pulled it out of my stash of "starts". Used my old Dove blender pen to pull some of the color from the outline into the leaves, then added some bits of gold stickles to the stems of buds. Trimmed the panel to reveal some of the pink card base then edged with gold scallops. I always thought this vase gave off an Asian vibe so I think it should work for Vicky on several levels.

This is gorgeous Linda! You really worked some magic with your blender pen! You're right about the vase..it does look Asian inspired. Extra cookies for you with the pink (even the title is "pink")!
Glad you were able to de-stress with this card, Linda, and it's beautiful! The vase of greens reminds me of Ikebana, and trimming the panel with gold scallops makes it fabulous!

I agree -- your image does evoke a very Asian vibe. And, I didn't know you could coax old ink with a blender pen after it had set for so long so thanks for the info. I like the look and I think coloring in the leaves gives the plant more impact. It looks beautiful framed with your gold scallops. Wonderful card.
