I started a Travel the World card series in 2019, committing to virtually visit a different randomly-selected country each week (for 50 weeks), gathering tidbits of information about the country. I love to travel and this is one way I can "visit" countries that I might otherwise never see. As I learn about each country, I choose something about that country as inspiration for a card.
There are 195 countries in the world so in the first two years of this series I've "visited 100 countries, which means I still have quite a few to go.
This card is inspired by Azerbaijan where its capital city is home to the world's largest KFC (yes, Kentucky Fried Chicken). Who would have thunk it???

Love, love, LOVE this tongue-in-cheek parody on this world's largest KFC!!! Your coloring of this chicken is wonderful, your shading on the bill and other bright details are great. This is just such a funny card! It would work for a male or female birthday too. I like the striped cardstock you've placed below the sentiment, just the right touch. Love the plaid dsp for the background of the focal image and sentiment. This is wonderful!!!
BTW, what a GREAT way to "visit" some cool places in the world and really learn about them and get a feel for the culture, etc. Well done!!!

LOL This is SO ADORABLE!!!! PERFECT CHOICE to feature Azerbaijan! You're also featuring Corbin, Kentucky as that is where KFC originated! AND you've reminded me of Sprinkle & Sparkle too! It's been AGES since I've visited them! LOVE your idea of "traveling" to all the countries! SO FUN!!!! SUCH A PERFECTLY MADE CARD!!!! LOVE the image & the sentiment as well!
