This was not a challenge that I liked or understood and I had several ripped up pieces in the bin with the frustration of it. In the end I just painted a winter tree before I had elevated blood pressure

I love your tree in the snow...beautiful. I tore up 3-4 before I settled on mine.

Aww! So sorry this led to frustration. It certainly is a beautiful painting! I love the subtle snowy ground. I tend to be a bit heavy-handed and don't often achieve that very light watercolor look! Your tree is beautiful! Thanks for persevering!

Oh I'm with you...I didn't get it either. The word abstract didn't apply in my opinion. But I do like your tree and I'm glad you did something that relieved your bp.

Janine, this really is a wonderful painting of a bare tree. You captured the challenge, and the background is beautiful. Glad you played and it's always a joy to see your creations.
