We visited a very interesting site called Design Stack for the IC today. I picked this pin for my inspiration, using my geometric circle dies to mimic the window structure and the far wall with the circles in it, with the leaf representing the greenery and the pink the colour of the flowers. I did smooshing with the new pink distress ink on my card base, dragged the leaf through puddles of rustic wilderness, then dried and dragged through twisted citron. Coloured the sentiment with copic markers, along with the butterfly, which I cut from the butterfly string die. I have more pictures, details and links on my blog here.
Thank you for looking.

Kia, I just sat and really studied all the elements you used to create this mixed media beauty. I love the balance of your colors with the sentiment a pop of red. It was fun, wasn't it?
