As I've been seeing all the other Tickle cards in the gallery, I have to say I can agree with the thoughts expressed on them...the importance of family, friends, nature...My first idea when I pondered our theme was reading and books. I normally do read a lot but during the past year I've increased my normal pace and expanded the topics I'm usually drawn to. I'm fortunate that my city's library has remained open, although on limited days, and has adjusted their procedures to allow those of us who depend on it to be able to get the materials we crave. So I'm thankful that I'm able to expand my surroundings just by picking up a book. Even though we're not allowed to travel, I can have an adventure sitting right here in my living room.

What a fun die. Love the bling on the glasses. I'm envious of you, Polly. Our library was only open for a short while. Then they started building works and you could order and collect, so that was OK, but since the end of December they've been totally closed. At least I'm happy re-reading . What a great sentiment to pair with your book-lover.

Here, Here. I couldn't agree more about the joy and wonder of books and how they can inform, transform and transport us in so many ways. Love, love, love the sentiment which is perfect for the theme. Fun dps and image and great coloring. So, I wonder...Is that green dot the wonder I should be looking for? I'm trying to be on the lookout here. LOL

That's the best way to read--laying on your stomach. Love the sentiment (which is SO true and on point). And the combination of striped papers and the die cuts on top is so cool. Great card.

I totally agree with books being able to take you places you might never be able to otherwise. I used to read more. Now after a long day of work, I'm likely to fall asleep mid sentence. Great card. Love the reading girl image and the sentiment rings true.

What a darling digi image! That purple eye shadow is fabulous! I love reading too, and like you said, it's a safe way to travel in your own home. Great card Polly!
