This card came together pretty quickly because I just so happened to stop at Hobby lobby yesterday and picked up a bag full of Tim Holtz, Sizzix, and a different brand I cant remember the name of right now clearance items. Oh did I have fun there. Well anyways. ...I have been watching a lot of Jennifer McGuire videos recently and I thought...if she can do nested die cut projects then I can at least try it. Lol I visited my gallery to see if I ever made a card like this before...nope I havent. I’m still learning new and exciting ideas. I have a hard time with more freelanced projects like alcohol inks or water coloring BUT I’m not giving up. I just need more tim Holtz and Jennifer McGuire, Unity lives and Gina Ks videos to watch lol. I totally admire their craftiness.
Listen to me rambling on...Ill get in with it lol
I first paper pierced the diamond background on the white panel paper, then I die cut the hexagon die shape 4 times and switched up the colors old olive, white, pool party, and what I believe to be pacific point , but Im not so sure of because it wasnt in its packaging, to make this color combo...which I have another three full hexagons to create more projects with..yay. I die cut the foliage from old olive paper and used the markers to give them some depth of color. I die cut 5 black hellos and 1 white hello and glued them all together with the white one being offset just a hair to make the word more noticeable. I assembled the card. Added the ribbon as as an afterthought along with the Nuvo drops. Once you get into the rhythm of things it didn’t take long at all.
I hope you all are enjoying your week and this beautiful spring weather. God bless and stay safe.

I have similar dies and always struggle to use them. This is great inspiration and those stacked dies create a great frame for those delicate blossoms.

Kari your nested dies are beautifully arranged in this week's colors. The flower arrangement in the center is so delicate and pretty! You did Jennifer McGuire good on this one, wink, wink! Thank you for participating in this week's challenge, this is a true beauty!

I am blown away by your beautiful card. The nested hexagons in the challenge colors look fantastic and I love your flower arrangement in the center. Clever name for your card too! Oh, and I love when Hobby Lobby puts Tim Holtz and Sizzix products on sale. I've spent way too much at that store!
