I could not think of what to do for this challenge and came across a card I had made with the Digital image I purchased some years ago to make a card for my mother. Then of course the hunt was on to find it, print it, colour it and make the card. The card is trying to depict one of my favourite authors Patricia Cornwall and the title on the book is Postmortem. Gruesome perhaps but that was the one on my shelf that came to hand! I tried to put it in a setting of flowers, sitting and reading - relaxing. Thank you for the challenge, this one took me a while, made last night! So apologies it is a little late. Thanks for looking.

Based on her first Dr. Scarpetta book! At one time, I was into reading non-fiction & fiction crime stories (now read more books based on non-fiction historical periods!). I thought her name was familiar so I took a minute to google a bit of info about her; she is fascinating! Thanks for sharing your card based on her book!

Thank you everyone for you lovely comments. I made it an easel card because I had just completed a Creative Memories easel card challenge - two cards, and I was on a roll. It is only a normal card size, all I did was score the front and attach the "book".
At one time I couldn't get enough of Dr Scarpetta, I read every book available in the library, now I have several on my own shelves. Thanks again for your lovely comments. Cheers.
