Another fun Gallery to persue and this week it belongs to #Francine. You will see in her Gallery that she is on the MFT Design Team so you can imagine all the fun critters and images she uses on her cards. And, her ink blending is gorgeous. But, as soon as I saw this card, I knew it would be the one for me: Happy Birthday by #Francine at Splitcoaststampers
My SIL's favorite color is red and that is a color I struggle with. She has many cards with some version of black, white and red or gray, white and red or white and red. Well you get the picture. So as soon as I saw Francine's card I thought it would suit my SIL wonderfully.
The main stamp on my card is the new Butterfly Garden BG stamp from Hero Arts. I thought the flowers and butterflies would make a great birthday greeting and I don't own the stamp Francine used. One lesson learned: the first time I stamped this I used gold glitter ep. Unfortunately, a lot of the detail, which I think is essential on this card, got lost. So I restamped and used gold detail ep and it turned out far better. My scanner has dulled the gold ep in this pic and it looks much brighter and shinier in real life. I know my SIL will love this. I hope she finds those sweet butterflies hidden amongst the flowers too. And I can imagine using this layout with different colors and bg stamps for a variety of occasions.
Congratulations Francine on being this week's featured stamper. You have a wonderful Gallery filled with tons of inspiration.

Wonderful case. I have issues with glitter ep too. Glad you persevered and went with the straight ep. I also love the font on the birthday stamp. This is elegant and classy looking!
Debbie, this is a great case of Francine's card. The gold embossing is so beautiful on the red card base. I love the butterflies and flowers and they are perfect to highlight the sentiment.
