These flowers were in my stash, colored with watercolor pencils a rather dull purple, which I really did not like, so I sponged pink passion over the top and changed the color. The stems are from another flower, which I stamped and extended the length of the stems before cutting them out.
I used a blending brush with ripe persimmon and picked raspberry inks on the yellow background to make the flowers really pop.

Color-changed blooms are now a rich and vibrant hue...love it and they do POP on that lovely ink sponged brushed background with the halo of light filtering in the center behind the blooms!
