What a great challenge for this VSN, Shelly! You are so right about looking up, no matter where we find ourselves. I decided to make a trio of lil' cards celebrating the moon. They were a lot of fun and with the scale, perfect for some of my smaller stamps.
I used the cool Wordsworth love building stamp with the crescent moon illuminating the way home for those apartment dwellers. The image was embossed and I used Acid Yellow (Copic) to color the tiny street lights and moon.
The 'i heart u' Washi tape scrolls the top of my middle card. I used the fun retro All Night Media TV as a showcase for the banner ...to the moon and back. It was fussy cut to fit in the TV.
Last but not least, the study in blues with a wonderful crescent moon stamped four times is accompanied by that so true, 'I'll love you to the moon and back again'!
Nothing better than to be out under wide open skies and behold the majesty of creation! Hope you all will have a chance to experience that soon.
I appreciate hearing your thoughts and stories...

These are adorable! I love the idea of a little card to bring a smile to someone. The moon is a great theme for your trio and with minimal design elements they all say so much. Very cute....You did forget..."To the moon Alice!"...

I absolutely love your trio of Moon cards. Each has some signature element from you. I can barely come up with one card and here you are with 3! I am working on a painting due tomorrow for my class and then I can get back to the VSN challenges.
