This is my 2nd sample for CC836. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose granny apple green, pineapple punch, highland heather for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is dots.
For this card I used the easel card technique to create a birthday card for a friend. The stamp set is from the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit- a kit in color. I saw this card on Pinterest and used it for my inspiration. Stamped the rainbow in the challenge colors. Used a cloud die cut from the kit and stamped my sentiment.
My background paper is from the Stampin'-Up "oh so ombre" collection. I computer generated an April calendar and circled the 23rd date- that's her birthday. Scattered a few sequins to finish off this card.

Well, card 2 is a stunner! Love, love, love the rainbow. I think it's quite unique to feature a rainbow that's not Roy G. Biv. The fact that you created an easel card is very impressive!

I love this clever design, Mary! The idea of the calendar on an easel base is a great way to send the greeting. She can display it and enjoy it all day!
