 | | Welcome to my inspiration card for a sketch challenge that involved offset rectangles. I decided to go with LOTS of texture for an underwater themed card for this challenge.
I used three different embossing folders for all the textures (listed below), and three different shimmery colors of cardstock (baby blue, mint green, baby pink).
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! (SU) "Friends Are Like Seashells" stamp set, and the label die is from SU "Potted Succulents" dies.
To give added dimension to the pink seashell, I lightly sanded the high points on the embossed shell with a white sanding block since the pink shimmery cardstock had a white core.
I am rating the difficulty of this card as a "2" out of a possible "5" since the die sets make it so easy to pull together. |
