This is for today's FS...congrats, Sandy....and for Rita's VSN challenge-flowers and memories.
This is what I CASEd: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I liked everything about Sandy's card so didn't change a lot. Instead of newspaper, I used some book pages that I swiped some translucent acrylic paints on. Instead of dp, I used a stencil. My wildflowers are stamped instead of diecut. I have a moth instead of a punched butterfly and I skipped the diecut circle, instead added some pearls and some lace and twine at the top.
For the VSN, Rita suggested we could create a colorful background and stamp some silhouette flowers. This was a fun and easy card. The book I used is a paperback copy of The Return of the King by Tolkien, purchased at Goodwill. I remember very well the first time I read Tolkien in the late 60's. Read them several times since.

Super card! Wonderful to use those book pages. I like the stencilling and your stamps, too. Good job with your case.

Jean, this is a great case of Sandy's card. I love all the steps you took to accomplish this beautiful card. I especially love the three torn strips of print.
